Does the extension access all my tabs?

No. Manifest V3 limits content scripts to specific AI tool URLs (chatgpt.com, claude.ai, etc.). No access to your other browsing.

What if I have ChatGPT open next to Claude?

Both get access to the same knowledge base. The extension makes no distinction between tools, except in the styling of the injection indicator.
